How to Use Our Molding Search Tool
To begin a molding search, use the drop down menu (currently “Crown”) to select the type of molding. To see all available moldings in all sizes simply click “Start Search”. You can narrow the selection by entering dimensions in the fields.

It’s true that adding decorative moldings to any room makes it looks great and doesn’t have to be expensive or difficult but I think only experienced interior designers would be able to pull it off. I guess that’s why there is the profession of designing interiors in the first place.

It all looks very classy if you’re going for that kind of look in a room. Provided it matches the room and the furniture, having moldings like this can really add a strong finish to any room. I have some in white in a cream room of mine and it looks completely finished now.
Those moldings that you have on the picture are great. It added more design on the window pane as well as the door. Btw, I think you can also use those moldings on the frame of pictures or paintings that you can put on the wall, right?
These moldings can really make a room beautiful and distinctive. I ‘m interested in chair rail molding. It is easy to handle the installation with a few basic tools and a little upfront knowledge. That’s great!

I always tell clients that if they’re going to attempt a DIY installation, to practice somewhere inconspicuous first. Getting molding joints right so that they’re not ugly looking is a skill.

OH! I cannot agree more! I have owned and renovated many homes, particularly, early 1950′s. These homes in comparison to 1940 and 1930′s were thought to plain, however, the moldings were just divine in that they were simple and in my opinion blended beautifully with modern fittings and furnishings they we like today.
Yes moldings really add beauty to any room. I also like to put moldings when designing the rooms in our house. I got this idea from the historic houses I had visited when I was in college. It enhances the room’s surroundings and they’re very nice to look at.

Before, I don’t gave such attention on putting appropriate moldings in designing the internal features of our house. I’m more focused on its outside appearance. I never thought that choosing the appropriate molding is much more important. I’m planning to renovate our old house and great I’ve got a lot of ideas here from your post. Moldings really add beauty and elegance to any room.

Here in London we have a fair amount of internal refurbishments of Grade I and Grade II listed buildings, where we are frequently fitting mouldings as part of the period features. It is always hard to find good timber merchants/mills, who are actually capable of delivering the right product, (at the right time.) I am pretty sure Good Mill would be a splendid business on this site of the big pond.

Polyurethane mouldings have been introduced specifically to make life easier, more varied and less expensive. The cost of a plaster moulding to recreate an ornate cornice or ceiling rose is so prohibitive that, apart from heritage run homes and palaces, we were in danger of losing the patterns altogether. The image above represents just a very few of the features you can incorporate into your decorating.
Architectural moldings are a simple addition that can make a lot of difference when it comes to adding to the overall aesthetics and values of a home. There are also Asia-influenced moldings available out there which gives a home a more exotic edge, such as the intricate bird-like trimmings of a Thai temple.
So what are the chances that a complete nooby with no past experience could do something like this in a 10ft by 14ft guest bedroom?
