in General

Even if you are a DIYer, cabinet builder, installer or finish carpenter who can make cabinets on site, buying custom milled cabinet parts can save you time and money. Instead of making prefab cabinets fit the room, you can order custom cabinet doors, drawer fronts and paneled ends to install on your cabinet boxes.

  • Cabinet door stiles and rails: cope and stick, C&S, mitered doors, glass frames, raised panel doors, vertical groove, shaker doors
  • Drawer fronts can have finger pulls or chamfered pulls including raised panel drawer fronts, beadboard panels, vertical groove panels, beaded panels
  • Cabinet crown moldings up to 12″, in hardwood, softwood, fire rated, MDF, flexible, plastic or foam.

Cabinet manufacturers and mills can manufacture cabinet parts more efficiently because they have specialized equipment that allows them to mill even the most elaborate designs.

You can see and hear in this video taken by a capenter of a cabinet maker working why he buys cabinets and installs them instead of making cabinets on site.

Buying cabinet doors and drawer fronts to fit cabinet boxes you build instead of entire cabinets provides another option to cabinet installation companies, cabinet installers and finish carpenters.

We produce cabinet crown molding for architects, contractors, installers and homeowners from any wood species as well as MDF (medium density fiberboard), plastic, flexible trim, and foam in any style or size up to 12″.

Popular wood choices are mahogany, maple, poplar, red oak, cherry, and pine but many others are available.

Haven taking a course on basic carpentry I can testify making a cabinet yourself takes a long time, longer than you’d think and more effort. It can be rewarding but only if you have some time to kill and what a cabinet to mean something, otherwise I’ve skipped doing them myself and utilised others skills and machinery and bought my furniture :)

Buying cabinet doors and drawer fronts to fit cabinet boxes should be a better and easier way for cabinet installers or finish carpenters.
