Good Millwork: Virginia Basement Remodel

With over 1000 miles between us and a very short timeline, we asked Jon to share photos of his remodeling project and give us some feedback on our wood moldings…here’s the nice surprise we received via email:

I had a complete basement remodel requiring a lot of moulding. Some moulding I could cut myself but I decided to shop around since the project was already quite a large undertaking. I started looking by reading forums and found references for www.goodmillwork.com.

I called and spoke to Randy who was extremely patient and helpful. He explained that they didn’t stock all mouldings but offer thousands of profiles that require setup for a run since they have to set knives for the wood patterns…still I had only to wait a week. When I did receive the moulding it was smooth as silk. With that order out of the way I needed several more soft maple profiles…some hand drawn by me as a reference and some purchased from their massive online profile selection.

I have ordered base cap, baseboard, casing and panel mouldings from Good Millwork. They saved me a ton of time and money from going to the local lumberyard. I’ll continue to go there for all my moulding needs.

Thanks, Jon.

We’re always looking for feedback and great photos of how our wood trim is being used. Give us a call at (888) 209-9307 or email sales@goodmillwork.com to share.

Only a week! That’s amazing. You can’t even get Home Depot to take care of you that fast.

Jason,

Yes sir…one week (but, gotta give the props to the production team). They run our molders with the same level of enthusiasm that you’ll witness on a Sunday afternoon NASCAR event and whenever the machines come to a stop the ‘pit crew’ goes to work to get it changed out for the next run.

Thanks for visiting the site and acknowledging the turn time. Will make the team smile when I share this note.

Best.
