Help a Child, Save a Tree

Cottages for Kids is a Florida-based benefit event that auctions playhouses designed, built and decorated by area architects and homebuilders using volunteered time and donated materials. Held locally in Rosemary Beach, the auction raised an estimated $100,000 for its nonprofit sponsor, the Children’s Volunteer Health Network, Inc.

In addition to childlike, playful aesthetics, this year’s Cottages for Kids event also had a green focus. Exemplifying this, “The Fanciful Folley” featured a modular, post-modern design constructed all from reclaimed cypress waste donated by Good Millwork. It was designed by Studio Atelier and built by Ederer Construction both of Point Washington, FL. More info

Your post is very informative. Thanks for some of the posts. I feel they were helpful. It is great to see sites with information rather than mostly trash. Spreading knowledge is a giving tool and is usually very beneficial. Regards, Julie
